Our first public demonstration turned out to be a success beyond expectation!
With last minute finalization of the prototype that left us with no time for stand preparation, our booth was undoubtedly the least noticeable -decoration and appearance wise. But all changed when SmartSurface was turned-on! SmartSurface first prototype was a STAR at ITEX09. SmartSurface won the Gold Award in the exhibition AND a Special Award by an international judging panel.
Our booth was stormed with visitors all around the clock during the first two days of the exhibition we even had to stay after hours under visitors demand.
SmartSurface Smart Table passed its first hard test of 10+hours a day of continuous completely-uninterrupted function with 4 to 5 people, at any given time, trying 3 to 4 different applications simultaneously. SmartSurface Core Quad CPU held strong and steady.
SmartSurface presented over 13 applications ranging from educational, medical, browsing, food services, and up to complex multi media demonstrations.
Representatives of Science Technology and Innovation Ministry, Finance Ministry, prominent universities in the region, Telecom companies, exhibition organizers, international café chain operators, factory automation industries, architect designers were all exited with the possibilities that SmartSurface presents and the range of applications and smooth of use it provides.
SmartSurface was asked to give presentation in front of high governmental authorities in Malaysia in the coming month. We were also overwhelmed with multitude of industries representatives indicating interest and ideas of deploying SmartSurface into their businesses.
