Japan Earthquake: Our Liaison Office
Earthquake in Japan:
An Offshore Earthquake magnitude 9.0 and aftershocks hit Miyagi Prefecture, Sendai, Japan on 5:46 GMT ,11th March 2011,
An estimated 10 metre height tsunami hit the pacific coast of northern Japan.
Tsunami Warnings were given by Pacific Tsunami Warning Center to at least 20 Countries including Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia etc.

Liaison Office
Our Chairman, Mr Hassan and his family were also affected by the earthquake in Tokyo Japan. Our liaison office in Tokyo Japan has suffered some damage.
Smart Surface Team in Malaysia would like to wish the safety of our Chairman, his family and all other people in Japan and the people in the world that is affected by the tsunami.

Smart Surface Sdn Bhd is awarded the MSC status by MDeC (Multimedia Development Corporation in Malaysia) for providing advanced ICT (Information & Communication Technology) solutions.
MSC status is a national ICT initiative given to selected companies after closely scrutinizing their business and products. It entitles the company to many benefits such as permission to relocate to special “Cyber Cities”; green environment areas protected by strict zoning with advanced physical infrastructure and cutting-edge communications infostructure .
It also entitles the MSC status companies to financial incentives such as 100% tax exemption for up to 10 years, 100% investment tax allowance, duty free importation on multimedia equipment, and freedom to source capital and borrow funds globally.
Normally the MSC status is given only to privileged companies with at least 3 years of business history after strict screening. Smart Surface Sdn Bhd was awarded this presetigous status after mere 4 months of its establishment due to the novilty of the solutions it provides and the technology it alreay developed.
